(Nasdaq:YHOO), a leading global Internet company today announced that it has settled, as to EMI Music, the copyright infringement suit brought by EMI and other major record labels in connection with Yahoo!'s Internet radio service, LAUNCHcast. In settling EMI's claims, Yahoo! will make a one-time payment to EMI and the two companies have entered into a non-exclusive license to stream EMI-controlled recordings in LAUNCHcast globally.
