"The growing consumer demand for compelling content on the Internet and the rapid proliferation of broadband is an exciting growth opportunity for Yahoo!, and we are committed to further bolstering what are already the leading content properties on the Web," added Rosensweig.

Braun was most recently chairman of ABC Entertainment Television Group, a division of The Walt Disney Company, a position he held from January 2002 until April 2004. He began his entertainment law practice at Silverberg, Rosen, Leon & Behr, where he worked from 1985 to 1989.
